Toronto Film School To Host ‘In Conversation’ With Orphan Black Star Tatiana Maslany Next Week

Those are just a handful of the characters that catapulted Toronto Film School’s next In Conversation special guest speaker to critical acclaim during her five-season stint playing nearly 15 different clones on the hit sci-fi series, Orphan Black.
Emmy Award-winning actor and producer Tatiana Maslany joins an ever-expanding list of esteemed Canadian filmmakers, writers, actors and comedians who have engaged Toronto Film School students and alumni in in-depth, online discussions since the launch of our new In Conversation speaker series on April 9.
Maslany – who just wrapped the HBO series Perry Mason and was last seen in Broadway’s production of Network – will participate in our next live In Conversation session via Zoom on Thursday, May 28.
Previous guest speakers have included Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Atom Egoyan, 30-year vereran stand-up comedian Caroline Rhea, Oscar- and Golden Globe-nominated writer and actor Nia Vardalos, and Beverly Hills 90210 star Jason Priestley.
Hosted by Toronto Film School’s Executive Producer in Residence Andrew Barnsley and Writing for Film & TV Program Director Adam Till, the 90-minute, interview-style discussion with Maslany will take place over Zoom as follows:

About Tatiana Maslany
Tatiana Maslany just wrapped the HBO series Perry Mason starring opposite John Lithgow and Matthew Rhys. She was last seen in Broadway’s production of Network starring alongside Bryan Cranston.
Maslany is an Emmy Award-winning actress and producer who has made a significant impact in all mediums including film, television and theatre. She is perhaps best known for the television series Orphan Black and has starred in numerous films including Stronger, Woman In Gold, and Destroyer, and recently made her Broadway debut in Network.
She has received numerous accolades and awards for her work including an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award nomination, a SAG Award nomination, six Canadian Screen Awards, two ACTRA Awards, two Gemini Awards, a Gracie Award, a Young Hollywood Award and a TCA Award.
