The esteemed weekly magazine, which is widely recognized as one of the most trusted sources of entertainment news and reviews, included TFS in its 2023 listing alongside such venerable institutions as the Beijing Film Academy in China, the U.K.’s National Film and Television School, the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Italy, and Austria’s Filmakademie Wien, among others.

The listing, which is featured on page 75 of the August 9, 2023 edition of the magazine, touted TFS’s elite faculty as one of the many reasons for its inclusion.

“TFS’s A-list faculty includes Schitt’s Creek exec producer Andrew Barnsley, former CBC programming exec Michelle Daly, and Daytime Emmy-winning sound editor Jason MacNeill,” Hollywood Reporter staff wrote.

The magazine also recognized TFS for offering its Film Production, Acting for Film, TV & the Theatre and Writing for Film & Television students “crucial industry access in Canada’s biggest media market.”

“The private college, with a focus on launching careers in film, entertainment, fashion, design and video games, is also working with Hollywood studio partners on possible joint training in postproduction supervision, line producing, and business affairs, among other advanced career options,” TFS’s Hollywood Reporter listing reads.
