Have you checked out our new Toronto Film School brand ad? If so, did the video’s characters remind you of someone familiar? Perhaps…yourself? Were you that kid who dreamed of one day becoming a filmmaker, a writer, a graphic designer, a video game creator, or maybe even an actor? It’s never too late to pursue a creative career—as the video demonstrates.

We’re absolutely pumped because this spot was crafted by our very own students and alumni. It’s gone on to snag a GOLD for best Digital Video Ad at this year’s prestigious Education Digital Marketing Awards (EDMA). And now you can see the spot for yourself on the big screen at any Cineplex VIP theatre or Scotiabank theatre in Toronto before the movie showtime.

Now, about that contest we mentioned: to enter, you must be a resident of Ontario. Follow us on Instagram and check out the contest post. Drop a like and tag a friend with a comment. Each comment equals 1 entry. Share the contest post to your Insta stories for an extra 10 entries. Multiple entries are permitted!

One winner will score an ultimate Toronto Film School goodie bag, loaded with:

· A $500 Everything Gift Card

· Toronto Film School branded goodies

· Two Cineplex VIP tickets

The contest runs from December 7 – 21, 2023. We’ll pull a random draw from all eligible entries to determine the winner. Cash alternatives or substitutions? Nah, but you can read the full rules and regulations here.

Good luck in the contest, and if the ad has got you thinking about your future career moves, check out our accelerated creative diploma programs here at Toronto Film School.
