TFS Showcase of “Pug Puncher” Video Game Happens June 16 and 17

Next weePoster_PugPuncherk the Toronto Film School will celebrate the release of the student made video game Pug Puncher.

 

Pug Puncher is a fast paced, hilarious and hard hitting 2.5D action adventure video game with a strong focus on combat and combos. The game features a light hearted and snappy narrative, delivering nonstop one-liners, and tonnes of laid out pugs.

The player (AKA Pug Puncher) must fight his way through lots of evil super-intelligent pugs to bring justice to the city now run by the pugs.

Pug Puncher is a result of collaboration between Toronto Film School students in the Video Game Design and Development, Video Game Design and Animation, Writing for Film and TV and the Acting for Film, TV and Theatre diploma programs.

 

 

On Tuesday, June 16 at 2:30 p.m. in the Steeles Campus Student Lounge, 2000 Steeles Ave W, there will be a Video Game Showcase of Pug Puncher.

 

Then on Wednesday, June 17 there will be another showcase of the game as well as a panel discussion featuring its creators at 4:45 p.m. at the Dundas Campus, 10 Dundas St W, in Studio 2.

 

These showcases are free and open to the public.
